Driving Global Dialogue on Economic Planning and Industrial Policy
The Turkish Chamber Las Vegas is proud to be one of the organizers of the Smart Economic Planning and Industrial Policy (SEPIP) Conference 2025, a premier international event that brings together researchers, policymakers, regulators, and practitioners from around the world. The conference provides a platform to exchange insights, share experiences, and explore innovative approaches in industrial policy and economic planning to support sustainable development and national competitiveness.
The theme of SEPIP 2025 is:
“Industrial Policy, Trade Wars, and Economic Development in the Era of Technological, Geopolitical, and Environmental Change.”
The conference will take place on October 14–15, 2025, at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), hosted by the Ozmen Center for Entrepreneurship and the E.L. Cord Center for Global Engagement. Keynote speeches, expert panels, and academic sessions will be held during the mornings, while hybrid sessions will be broadcast live from OSTiM Technical University, Ankara, Türkiye, creating a dynamic international exchange of ideas.
The organization of SEPIP 2025 at UNR’s Ozmen Center has been led by Dr. Mehmet Serkan Tosun, a distinguished member of the Turkish Chamber Las Vegas Board, whose efforts have been instrumental in bringing this global event to Reno. In addition, Chamber President Ismail Onat has supported international outreach, helping ensure the conference receives attention from leading experts and institutions worldwide.
